The Principle Behind the Model

There is a hospital in South India that has performed millions of eye surgeries, many of them free, without ever compromising on quality or depending on outside funding. It sustains itself entirely from within. Those who can pay, pay well. That revenue funds everyone else. The quality never changes. Only the fee does.

That model has quietly guided how WHAT NEXT is built.

Premium programmes fund open access. The paid work and the free work are not a funnel, they are not a pipeline, they are not a strategy. They are two expressions of one mission. One pays for both.

The Founder

Raghavendra Mithare (PCC-ICF) spent three decades navigating the intersection of organisations, people, and purpose — as an executive coach, an entrepreneur, a practising philosopher, and a published author. He built WHAT NEXT because the question kept finding him, in boardrooms, in coaching sessions, in the quiet after big decisions. Eventually, he stopped answering it and started building a home for it.

The Bystander

WHAT NEXT operates alongside The Bystander, a free community of curious professionals asking better questions. The Bystander is where curious professionals come to ask better questions, share what they are learning, and think in public.

The Destination

The journey of WHAT NEXT moves from searching outward, to turning inward, to the recognition that you were always already it.
